IMDT Partnership Puppy Grade

Give your puppy the best possible start with our IMDT Partnership Puppy Grade.

This supportive, reward-based class helps you build focus, communication, confidence and practical everyday skills. Training is positive throughout, with no force, no fear and no pain.

During the course, you and your puppy will work towards six achievable exercises:

• Reflex to Name – building attention and the foundations of recall
• Eye Contact – improving focus and communication
• Puppy Knowledge – learning about teething, enrichment and puppy development
• Recall – encouraging your puppy to return happily and reliably
• Single Cone Search – introducing simple nosework and enrichment
• Automatic Sits – creating a useful default behaviour when you stop walking

Each skill can be signed off as it is achieved. Once all six are complete, your puppy will receive an official IMDT Partnership Puppy Grade Rosette and Certificate.

No previous training experience is needed, and every puppy can progress at their own pace. You will be shown how to teach each exercise and given practical support to continue training at home.
